Mobile Radio Harness Kit For Motorcycles

Designed to accommodate officers who use their Helmet Communications with their Mobile Motorcycle Radio exclusively and do not need the PA Broadcast feature. This Mobile Radio Interface allows standard operation of the existing Mobile Radio handmic and speaker, but additionally allows the officer transmit and receive capability from the helmet when the officer connects his helmet to the pigtail connections shown. Mobile Radio transmissions with the Helmet microphone are activated by means of the Push-to-talk (PTT) switch at the motorcycle handlebars.

Helmet and Portable Radio Harness Kit for Motorcycles with Public Address (PA)

Designed to accommodate officers who work exclusively with their portable radio both on and off their motor. This Harness Kit allows remote activation of the Helmet microphone over the portable radio by means of a push button switch mounted at the motorcycle handlebars. By pressing a second handlebar PTT switch, the motorcycle siren will be activated as a Public Address (PA) System, and the Officer can then broadcast from the helmet microphone to direct traffic etc. without removing his hands from the handlebars. Adjustable microphone level to the Siren provides PA broadcast volume control.

For officers who use their Helmet Communications with their Mobile Motorcycle Radio only, this Mobile Radio Interface allows standard operation of the existing Mobile Radio handmic and speaker, but additionally allows the officer transmit and receive capability from the helmet when the officer mates the pigtail connection shown. Mobile Radio transmissions with the Helmet microphone are activated by means of a Push-to-Talk (PTT) switch at the motorcycle handlebars. Harness Kit includes independent adjustments for helmet microphone volume to the Siren/PA and to the Mobile Radio.

Portable & Mobile Radio Harness Kit for Motorcycles with Public Address (PA)

By far our most popular product, this Portable / Mobile Dual Radio Harness is designed to accommodate officers who use their Helmet Communications with both their Portable Radio and Mobile Motorcycle radio, and require ''seamless'' and continual helmet communications. When the officer mates to the connection shown, Helmet communications automatically routes away from the portable radio to the motorcycle radio, and Mobile Radio transmissions with the Helmet microphone are now activated by means of a Push-To-Talk (PTT) switch at the motorcycle handlebars. By pressing a second handlebar “PTT” button, the motorcycle siren will be activated as a Public Address (PA) System, and the Officer can then broadcast from the helmet microphone to direct traffic etc, without removing his hands from the handlebars.

Alternatively, the Helmet can be connected directly to the Motorcycle, bypassing the Portable Radio and Autoswitching Adapter.

Harness Kit includes independent adjustments for helmet microphone volume to the Siren/PA and the Mobile Radio.
